Basically what the day was, was fun in the sun and pool for about 50 pups! In the dog dirt v. chlorine battle that was ongoing in the pool that day, the dogs definitely one! We left the event smelling more like wet dog than pool water (yuck!). They had dog lap races, a cannonball contest, wading pools for the more cautious pups--you name it! To their owners' credit, none of the dogs entered the cannonball contest (basically the gist of it was throwing your dog into the pool from the dive!).
Ha, a true dog and pool lover, was in heaven. Here are some pix from our fun family day:
Ha & Da. I am very excited that Ha is now big enough to wear her cute cutout bathing suit that Mimi got her when she was an infant. I'm hoping Ha gets all these racy outfits out of her system before she hits her teens--b/c there's no way she's making it out of the house in that kind of stuff then, lol!

Speaking of water...I think (hope!) there's something in it! Two of my friends were already pregnant when I met them a month ago--and within the past week & a half, two more have joined the crew!!
