Okay, here are our pix...
We have a great park (Marek Park) just down the road from us. Hana loves it. The one just down the hill from us is not up to her cleanliness standards (too many cobwebs--she has me cleaning the whole time we are there and never will go on anything, lol), but she loves this place. It's great because it has a jungle gym, swings, and also sand--she would run around all day, given the choice!
Working on her ABCs. She loves to sing and sign the alphabet song and can recognize a lot of the letters. Her favorite things to name, though, are: animals, colors, shapes, and numbers. Especially if they are big. She loves calling things "big". She calls me "a big mama", lol! She came up with that one all by herself about a month ago, lol!

Da's Civil Engineer Appreciation Picnic. This day was great fun. Ha and Da spent about 2 hours in the bounce house. Kindermusik has been going great. I keep having to rearrange the Family Room to make setup easier--because this is how the house has to look on a typical Kindermusik morning (have to keep distractions to a minimum with a bunch of toddlers, lol!) Ha loves the classes, wants to listed to her CDs all the time, and has developed favorite activities (scarf and line dances, to name a few) and songs--she is really into singing along as well--her favorite song is "I Love My Family".
Ha, snuggled up, enjoying a post-Kindermusik granola bar (a.k.a. "breakfast cookie")...
How the house used to look after Kindermusik--we since rearranged again and now the setup/cleanup is a LOT easier.

Whipping up a Boboli--the girl LOVES to cook and is a huge fan of using spices! We each picked out a topping for this one (Da was out of the country, TDY for a pre-deployment class)--so we ended up having an artichoke and hotdog delicacy, lol!
Tutu came for a 2-week visit during May, to spend some QT with her granddaughter and also help out while Martin was gone. She took most of the pix during her time here (break for me!), so I will be doing a separate post with those (theoretically), but here are a couple I did take of Tu & Ha preparing Fiber One brownie cookies for Da's return. He is a huge fan of Fiber and he probably goes through about 4 or 5 boxes of that cereal a week!
'Tunia (appropriately pronounced "Tummy" by Haha) actually tucked herself in! She is very talented.
Tummy and "Cake" (Ha's name for "Pancake") cuddling in Cake's new bed. The two dogs are finally starting to bond, which is great! For awhile they were just doing their own thing. Both pets are excellent with Hana--especially Petunia. Pancake redeems himself, however, by being excellent with other children as well. Petunia is not allowed to go near them, lol. She is skittish, and a lot of them don't know how to behave around small dogs. Better safe than sorry! Especially because I still have a jarring memory of my childhood doxie, Greta, losing a tooth in my friend Ilyssa's hand when we were in (possibly) 3rd or 4th grade! Pancake has also finally seemed to curb his desire to run away--which is a huge plus! He's not actually a fan of running away--just experiencing bouts of freedom around the neighborhood and then returning to the comforts of home shortly thereafter. But lately he has been more into lounging (maybe the heat?). Hope it lasts! He was really getting on my nerves for awhile because in order to leave the house, I'd always have to have him in the kitchen or backyard--or else that rascal would find some way out--no matter how little I'd open the door!
