Our little chef

Ha is turning into QUITE the little chef. A few weeks ago she developed a thing for cooking and now is always trying to push a chair into the kitchen while saying and signing "help, help, cook!" Too cute. I am loving it because it is so much more fun to cook with her than to try to get homecooked meals knocked out while she is hanging onto my legs and whining, lol. She does pitch a mini fit, however, when she is ready to cook and there is nothing to make--so we try to always have a couple quick and easy things in mind. :O) Now we are finally able to make fancy yummy treats for playgroup again!

Here we are finishing up some banana pudding! (When we are making something particularly tasty, Ha will snack quite liberally throughout the process!)

Here Ha is preparing some Nilla Wafer sandwich cookies (strawberry cream cheese filling, dipped in milk or white chocolate) for our playgroup Easter party...
Two weeks ago, we trekked up to Nago to take advantage of our season passes to Churaumi Aquarium. Ha LOVES fishies! LOL, all of the pictures are from OUTSIDE the aquarium. Da was in charge of the camera inside, which means everything he shot was in video mode, lol. I will be uploading those later this week since they take FOREVER with our internet connection out here.
Here, Ha indulges in one of Ma's favorite treats! The playgroup Easter party was a success! It was a foul weather day, so we had to have it indoors instead, but the kids still had a lovely time hunting for and dyeing eggs.
