Bubbles & the Great Outdoors

During base lockdown last weekend (yay, it was lifted Tuesday morning!), we enjoyed a spectacular day at the Army's Torii Station Beach!! Ha played herself silly in the warm water and on the inviting jungle gym. We are loving the occasional superwarm weather and can't wait for days at the beach to once again become the norm! Ha loved bouncing on the giant spider web...

...and found kicking legs on a swing to be a great source of laughter!

A family afternoon at the Schilling Community Center mini golf course. Ha really enjoyed hand-carrying everyone's balls and dropping them into the holes (or into other, more interesting, places, lol).

You know you are a true bubble lover when... You blow them in the middle of a bubble bath!! For Ha, there's no such thing as too much of a good thing! She is a natural when it comes to blowing bubbles--these perfect round ones were blown the first day she learned how to!!

Ha also had her 2-year checkup this week. All went well, and no shots were needed (she's good until she's 4!). However, her doc did advise switching from whole to skim milk. Usually perfectly proportionate Haha had moved down to the 40th percentile for height, while scaling to the 60th in weight. ;o)
