BIG news!

Well, as some of you know, Da had an upcoming deployment scheduled--a 6-monther, starting in May, plus a month of training ahead-of-time in April. It would have entailed him going to Iraq and convoying with the army--and would have involved him missing the first 3 months of Junior's new little life--birth included. :O(

Well...we received some VERY good news today! Martin's crew leader had been wondering why so little information had filtered down thus far, so he asked up the chain of command--and the reason was a pretty darn good one--the deployment had been cancelled! Now, there is still a chance, since he is "in the bucket", that some other team may pull him last-minute, but the odds are he is finally getting to sit out a cycle!!

We are SO excited! LOL, now we don't need to find out the gender ahead of time! (The main reason we were going to was so Da would have something exciting to share in since he would miss the birth.) But because Mimi has her heart so set on knowing, and we already told her we'd find out, we still will be asking on the 27th!

Just wanted to share that little bit of VERY good news! Yay for us!
