Pictures!! (Nov-Dec)

Well, here are some long-awaited pix from the past month & a half. I think you will agree they were worth the wait!! I hope to have a nice post w/pix about the holidays up by this weekend/early next week. Junior & Ha are excellent at wearing me out though!! :O) BTW, an update on last post--Ha LOVES her new bed! She is sleeping better and longer and you can tell she is proud of herself--that she really knows she is a big girl! We had one night where I had to walk her back to her room 2 times--and on the 3rd time, as soon as she saw me, she walked herself back--and that was it for adjustment trouble! After seeing how much Ha loves her room, we also decided Da's office has to go...into our bedroom, so that we can make the office into a nursery and let each kiddo enjoy his/her own room. Junior's room attaches directly to the master bedroom, so that is handy too. In Feb, Ha will be moving up to a regular bed with side rails, and her toddler bed will convert back into a crib and move on into the nursery to await Junior's arrival! We are so excited about everything!! Enjoy the photo updates!! :O)

Birdwatching at Neo Park...Ha was fascinated by the rainbow glass flecks in the pavement!Some wild pigs...Touring the park by train... Ha was NOT amused. She likes her trains to run the whole time--this one stopped a lot to look at animals and discuss them in Japanese.Posing with Thomas...Checkin' out some cute baby turtles...Feeding the giant tortoises (still at Neo Park). When you enter the enclosure there is a cautionary sign: "Watch out for bite!"Our VERY healthy lunch at Okinawa Fruits Cafe... The name does not lie! With the exception of a few "rare cheeses", everything on the menu was pure fruit!! We tried dragonfruit for the first time--yummy! Tastes a bit like aloe. Ha's favorite was the honeydew.Feeding the goats at Okinawa Fruits Land...The girl loves to clean!! Every chance she gets to get her hands on some napkins or moist wipes--she will be wiping down a table or scrubbing the floor, lol!!Ha, taming the balloons at Keirah's princess-themed first birthday party...Da heading out to Missouri for his 2 1/2 week Engineering School...Ha signing "I love you" (right hand) after a walk home from the park. We went to Sunabe Baba (where they have the ice cream vending machines) and I gave her a chocolate sandwich for the ride home, ha ha!I forgot to take pix during Thanksgiving, so to make up for it, here is a pic of Ha's Black Friday plate of leftovers. :O) Her faves were corn on the cob and mashed potatoes!Big Girl Ha riding the Tinsel Town train by herself!!Our Japanese firend Rie took us to a lovely local festical wehre Ha sampled some rice dishes and an unusual snow cone thing. A lot like a US snow cone--but with an INCREDIBLY sticky paste on the top...Rie giving the "thumbs up"...Ha LOVES pointing out the moon and stars in the evening sky...Making gingerbread houses at Gabby's... Finished products on display on Melanie's buffet...

Our holiday family photo shoot... Our photographer (one of my friends) accidentally deleted most of the pix from our first shoot (entire family), so she did an immediate reshoot so I could make Christmas cards--but Martin had already left the country, so it was mostly Ha, with a couple mommy'n'me shots. We're going to do an entire family reshoot when Junior has rounded me out a bit more! :O)
